Concept art of the Carnaby Square construction site
Carnaby Square is a location in the city in which Heavy Rain takes place. In 1977, it was a construction site on which Ann Sheppard lived in a trailer with her husband and their twin sons, but tragedy struck in October when John Sheppard drowned in a pipe filled with rainwater. Charles Kramer, the CEO of the company that owned the construction site, felt great remorse at the boy's death, and took to placing flowers on his grave every year.
None of the events of 2011 take place at Carnaby Square, but Ethan Mars awakens near it whenever he experiences a blackout, and Madison Paige mentions it when she visits Ann Sheppard in the hospital.
