David Cage (born David de Gruttola on June 9, 1969) is a French-American director and writer who directed and wrote the script for the critically acclaimed game, Heavy Rain. Besides Heavy Rain, he is most known for being the writer and director of Indigo Prophecy (2005), "Kara" (2012), Beyond: Two Souls (2013), and Detroit: Become Human (2018), and for being the founder, president, and co-CEO (along with Guillaume de Fondaumière) of Quantic Dream.
