Guns are seen throughout Heavy Rain. They can be used as evidence, a method of intimidation, and a tool for killing.

- The most featured gun seen is the Beretta 90-Two, which is used by Scott Shelby as well as most police officers (in "The Bear," "Fugitive," "On the Loose," and "The Old Warehouse").
- Norman Jayden uses a Beretta 92FS Inox.
- Carter Blake uses a SIG Sauer P226.
- Nathaniel Williams and Paco Mendez both use a Colt M1911A1.
- Zoran, Tony, and the bodyguards at the Kramer mansion all use Beretta M9s.
- Ethan Mars uses a Taurus PT92 during one of his trials.
- Brad Silver uses a Remington 870 MCS.
- Jackson Neville and Andrew both use a Desert Eagle Mark XIX.
- Madison Paige and Charles Kramer both use a Beretta 3032 Tomcat.
- Lauren Winter uses a Beretta 92.
- The Origami Killer uses a SIG Sauer P220.
Deaths[]
- Hassan can be shot in the neck by Andrew if Scott Shelby chooses not to intervene in "Hassan's Shop."
- Norman Jayden can choose to shoot Nathaniel Williams in "Nathaniel."
- In Ethan Mars' second to last trial, his mission is to find and shoot a man.
- Norman can be shot in the back of the head by Jackson Neville in "Mad Jack."
- Paco Mendez is shot in the head by the Origami Killer in "Fish Tank."
- Scott can shoot all of Charles Kramer's bodyguards when he breaks into the Kramer mansion in "Face to Face."
- Several are possible in "The Old Warehouse":
- Madison Paige can be shot by the Origami Killer as he chases her.
- If Norman isn't able to get up after the Origami Killer ambushes him, the killer will shoot him in the head.
- If Madison fights the Origami Killer and wins, he will be shot by Ethan or Norman if they make it to the warehouse.
- If Ethan makes it to the warehouse alone, he can choose to shoot the Origami Killer.
- Ethan can be shot by Carter Blake and the police, as he is mistakenly thought to be reaching for a gun.
- In two of Ethan's endings in which Shaun dies ("Origami Blues" and "Tears in the Rain"), Ethan shoots himself in the head with a gun identical to the one he uses in "The Shark."
- Lauren Winter shoots the Origami Killer in the head in "A Mother's Revenge."
