The subway station is a location in the city in which Heavy Rain takes place. It is one of the stops for the subway, a popular means of transportation for the residents of the city.
After the Lizard Trial, Madison Paige finds Ethan Mars in the Marble Street apartment, and they flee to the subway station with Carter Blake, Norman Jayden, and a police squad in hot pursuit. Ethan is practically incapacitated by agoraphobia when he sees the crowd of people in the subway, so Madison must then escort him through a turnstile, down an escalator, and across the tracks to catch a train on the adjacent platform. If they succeed, they will escape; if they fail, Madison will run for cover and hide as Ethan is arrested and taken to the police station.
