Age in 2011[]
Just to preemptively address any disputes that arise about the ages in the infobox, the flashback that is shown in "Twins" and "Hold My Hand" (the only times that Mr. Sheppard speaks and/or appears on-screen) take place in October 1977, at which point he would be 42. Despite the fact that he does not physically appear in any of the chapters that follow chronologically, his age is also given for October 2011 (when the main events of the game take place), at which point he would be 76.
